Job Responsibilities:
- Supervising the entire outbound daily operations and requirements as per standard operating procedures.
- Manage the outbound teams of 15 warehouse staff.
- Oversee preparation of all industrial and export orders.
- Understands the customs documentations requirements from JAFZA for local and regional exports.
- Analyzes service failures/issues and implements performance improvement processes to enhance future service delivery.
- Key role to communicate with external teams of couriers, forwarders and supervise daily documentations.
- Key role to communicate with internal teams of logistics and sales team of 20+ employees.
- Provide support to Logistics department including purchase, customer service,
and logistics.
- Work with inventory executive to solve day to day operational requirements for stock management.
- Prioritize and schedule industrial orders with standard KPI.
- Understand warehouse management systems to complete orders on assigned KPI.
- Organize regional stickers of Arabic etc. by aligning outsource labors as per requirements.
- Prepare and verify packing list, invoice numbers, pallet marks, customer details and custom documents.
- To recheck order Labels and strap belts for all stock items for both industrial and export.
- Tally all loaded goods with second verification to avoid any mistake in daily delivery.
- To make sure all order invoices and payment terms are confirmed before the delivery is released to customer.
- To make sure compliance of orders preparation process in system and on floor.
- Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed, and released to customers and agents in a timely manner.
- Tracks shipments and deliveries to ensure timeliness and accuracy.
- Monitors daily transports issues and solves issues that arise.
- Plans and schedules appropriate modes of transportation based on daily needs.
- Schedules the appropriate service line for the situation (across all modes and all trade lanes) to maintain a cost-effective balance between customer service and cost of shipment
- Office administration duties including filing.
- Responsible for resolving all internal and external client customer service issues in a cost effective and expeditious manner.
- Works closely with client’s representatives to ensure service satisfaction.
- Make suggestions for productivity improvements and work processes.
- Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors under adverse weather conditions
- Perform other duties and support WH teams on daily operational requirements as assigned by Manager.
**Skills**:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role
- Previous experience to handle 15 warehouse staff.
- Ability to work overtimes and in shifts.
- Knowledge and experience with warehouse SOP.
- Ability to manage inventory and fulfil daily orders.
- Ability to analyse data and provide insights from data.
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on Microsoft NetSuite or any WMS system experience is a must.
- Good time-management skills and team player.
- Great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work at pressure environments.
- Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or relevant fields.
- Prefer driving License
