Job DescriptionWe seek to hire a tailor responsible for preparing luxury clothing based on the customer's preferences.
Responsibilities
- Taking precise measurements of customers' Luxury Garmet to ensure that clothing fits correctly. Altering existing garments to fit a customer's needs
- Repairing damaged clothing or altering clothing to meet a customer's preferences i.e. Beads, Crystals, Zippers, buttons, hooks, etc. Restyling old or outdated garments based on Customer’s specifications. Operating sewing machines, irons, and other tools to complete projects
- Providing excellent customer service by answering questions and providing recommendations on garment care, fit, and style. Maintaining a clean and organized work area and equipment. Keeping up-to-date with new trends, fabrics, and techniques in the fashion industry
**ob Requirements**: - Tailors may work in a variety of settings of the laundry setup. Must have strong attention to detail, be skilled with a variety of fabrics and tools, and have excellent communication skills to work with customers to ensure they are satisfied with their garments. Holds at least 4-5 years of UAE experience managing high-end fabrics and stitching, must have worked with high-end luxury brands. Must have worked with the wedding -Gowns, sequins, pattern-making skills, worked on traditional saris and abayas, and hands-on knowledge working with men’s suits and winter jackets.
