Job Summary:
As a Chef Helper, you will play a crucial role in assisting the culinary team in various food preparation and kitchen tasks. From chopping and prepping ingredients to ensuring a clean and organized work area, your attention to detail and willingness to work as part of a team will contribute to the smooth operation of our kitchen. This position offers an excellent opportunity to learn and grow in the culinary industry.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Assist the chefs in preparing and cooking a wide variety of dishes, adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
2. Chop, slice, and dice ingredients under the guidance of senior kitchen staff, ensuring accurate and timely preparation.
3. Help with measuring and portioning ingredients, following specific recipes to maintain consistency.
4. Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, ensuring proper storage and handling of food items.
5. Support the kitchen team in setting up and organizing the kitchen stations before and after service.
6. Operate kitchen equipment, such as mixers, blenders, and ovens, with caution and in compliance with safety protocols.
7. Assist in plating dishes attractively, adding finishing touches to enhance their visual appeal.
8. Monitor and replenish food supplies during service to ensure continuous availability.
9. Collaborate with the kitchen staff in maintaining inventory levels and informing senior staff of any shortages.
10. Follow all health and safety regulations, maintaining proper food handling and storage procedures.
11. Assist with cleaning tasks, including washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
12. Exhibit enthusiasm and willingness to learn new techniques and skills from the culinary team.

Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a kitchen environment or hospitality industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
2. Passion for food and a desire to learn and grow in the culinary field.
3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, demonstrating excellent time management.
4. Attention to detail and accuracy in food preparation and kitchen tasks.
5. Strong teamwork and communication skills, collaborating effectively with kitchen staff.
6. Willingness to follow instructions from senior chefs and take feedback positively.
7. Adaptability to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the restaurant's operational hours.
