Poultry Forman

**Responsibilities**:

- **Supervising Poultry Operations**: Directing and overseeing the daily activities involved in poultry production, such as feeding, watering, egg collection, and maintaining poultry housing.
- **Health Monitoring and Disease Management**: Regularly monitoring the health of poultry, identifying signs of illness or disease, and implementing appropriate measures to prevent or control outbreaks. This may include administering vaccinations, medications, or treatments as necessary.
- **Biosecurity Measures**: Implementing and enforcing biosecurity protocols to minimize the risk of disease transmission within the poultry flock. This involves controlling access to poultry facilities, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and managing waste disposal.
- **Breeding and Hatchery Management**: Managing breeding programs to maintain or improve the genetic quality of the poultry stock. This may involve selecting breeding pairs, overseeing mating processes, and managing hatchery operations to ensure high hatch rates and healthy chicks.
- **Facility Maintenance**: Ensuring that poultry housing facilities are clean, well-maintained, and provide appropriate environmental conditions for the health and welfare of the birds. This includes monitoring temperature, ventilation, and lighting, as well as making repairs or improvements as necessary.
- **Record Keeping and Documentation**: Maintaining accurate records of poultry production activities, including inventory management, health records, and performance metrics. This information is used for tracking production trends, identifying areas for improvement, and complying with regulatory requirements.
- **Staff Training and Supervision**: Training, and supervising farm workers involved in poultry production. Providing guidance on best practices for poultry care, safety protocols, and efficient work methods to ensure productivity and compliance with standards.
- **Emergency Response**: Being prepared to respond to emergencies or unexpected events that may arise on the poultry farm, such as severe weather, equipment failures, or animal health crises. Developing contingency plans and coordinating response efforts to minimize disruptions and mitigate risks.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in poultry production or farm management in UAE.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of poultry health and nutrition.
- Familiarity with biosecurity protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
- Flexibility to work occasional weekends or holidays as needed.
