Atex Inspector

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, as a member of the team, the ATEX Inspector will be an exemplar ambassador for the company and its values; integrity, dependability, safety, pride, quality.

**Overview of knowledge required**:

- Detailed knowledge of the ATEX Inspector role.
- Detailed knowledge of EN standards and literacy in ATEX terminology and denotations.
- Commercial understanding.
- Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
- Knowledge of the teams strengths and weaknesses.

**Roles and responsibilities**:

- Verifying the compliance of electrical and instrumentation installations with ATEX requirements.
- Inspecting a range of equipment, including instrumentation and electrical devices.
- Utilizing a tablet where necessary, the ATEX Inspector will access information, plan inspections and record findings in soft or hard copy as required by the client.
- In the event of any non-compliance, the ATEX Inspector will document issues through photos and or communicate them to site management or client representative.
- Ensure correct permits are in place before completing any site walks, surveys or inspections.
- Liaising with the client and other contractors.
- All other tasks that may be assigned to you from time to time from your manager, other tasks may include installation and testing works depending on the work load and availability of plant areas.

Pay: AED13,000.00 - AED18,000.00 per month
