As a Corporate Lawyer with Financial Crime Expertise at Ali Omran Al Owais Investments, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization's legal compliance and protecting our clients' assets from financial misconduct. Your expertise will be critical in providing guidance on legal matters and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies. Key responsibilities include:
Conducting legal research and analysis to provide expert advice on financial crime-related matters, including fraud, money laundering, and corruption.

Collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement compliance policies and procedures in line with applicable laws, regulations, and industry best practices.

Reviewing and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents to protect the interests of the company and ensure compliance.
- Conducting internal investigations to identify potential financial crimes, taking appropriate action, and implementing necessary measures to prevent reoccurrence.
- Providing legal support and guidance on regulatory matters, internal audits, and compliance-related issues.
- Keeping up-to-date with changes in financial crime legislation and regulations, and ensuring internal processes are updated accordingly.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance internal controls and promote a culture of compliance.
- Managing external relationships with regulatory authorities, law enforcement agencies, and external legal counsel.

**Requirements**:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

- A law degree from a reputable institution, with a strong background in corporate law and a specialization in financial crime.
- Proven experience working as a Corporate Lawyer, ideally within the financial services or investment industry, with a focus on financial crime.
- In-depth knowledge of financial crime legislation, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify risks, patterns, and anomalies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
