Degree in Logistics, Supply chain management, or a similar discipline.
- Conduct regular “workload distribution reviews” for efficiency increases.
- Control direct and indirect costs (like overtime, consumables, and outsourcing) in coordination with the finance and operations teams.
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and yearly business reviews with strategic customers.
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers through open and interactive communication
- Resolve any problems or queries that our customers might face
- Review and verify order information’s and shipping instructions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Identify and assess the customer’s needs to achieve satisfaction.
- Maintain factory production details and communication of open orders reports.
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
- Proven experience working with construction chemicals Manufacturing industries
- Strong understanding of production planning processes - understand and work with volume of products required, quantity of production in a day, etc.
- Must be Self motivated, Taking ownership of processes, Systematic approach to the role
- Thorough understanding of logistics - Road and Ocean movements
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of import and export regulations.
- Pro-active, Self-motivated individual with ability to think ahead based on the data available.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the freight forwarding industry.
- Experience using Tally ERP or a similar system.
- In charge of incoming and outgoing materials
- Excellent knowledge of and ability with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel).
- Ability to understand and execute new procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English is required
- Fluency in Arabic is an advantage
