Electrician Job Description

We are looking to hire a detail-oriented Electrician to install, maintain and repair Electrical systems in villas, apartments and commercial premises. The Electrician will be skilled in installing, diagnosing and testing & Commisioning high and low voltage systems. You must be able to survey, guide and advise the customer the most appropriate way fulfil their requirements. You will be responsible for the safe installation of infrastructure performing maintenance, warranty and emergency repairs.

Electrician Responsibilities:

- Installing, maintaining, and repairing Switchboards.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for on a variety of systems and hardware.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
- Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
- Providing technical direction and on-the-job training.
- Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
- Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
- Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers' requirements.
- Assisting with customers' queries.
- Adhere to all industry and local governing codes.
- Be familiar with LOTO procedures.

Electrician Requirements:

- High school diploma.
- 5+ year experience as an Electrician, and willingness to continue education in Electronics field.
- Valid driver’s license desirable.
- Understanding of advanced principles In the field of electrical installation.
- Familiar with wire sizing for specified current and voltage.
- Working knowledge of boiler systems.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in reading schematics and work plans.
- Ability to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short or no notice.
- Ability to work in confined spaces.
- Clean and presentable.

**Salary**: From AED3,000.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Electrical Installation: 5 years (required)
- Working in Villas / Apartments: 5 years (required)
