**THIS IS A PERMANENT POSITION WITH FAMILY STATUS PROVIDED**

**Job Scope**:

- Responsible for ensuring Pipe work “Afloat” and “Workshop” operate as an efficient unit in carrying out quality, timely and cost effective repairs.
- To ensure an acceptable ISO standards of Quality, Environmental, OHSMS and Security Management System and American Petroleum Institute (API) Q1 are maintained in accordance with recognized working practices and the Company’s QEHS&S Manual and Policy.
- To ensure safe working practices are maintained at all times.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receive work specification, priorities and instructions from Mechanical and PipingDepartment Head.
- Ensure programs for Pipe workload on respective vessels are regularly prepared andmaintained.
- Control distribution of labour.
- Prepare labour loading projections on a regular basis.
- Advise Department Head on additional labour requirements.
- Control allocation of Supervisors, Team Leaders and Work Preparators.
- Assist subordinates to solve technical problems, make technical decisions where necessary, change working method or tools to suit customers requirements or meet completion time.
- Ensure requisitioning of materials is done and followed up to give sufficient time to complete repairs.
- Advise the Mechanical and Piping Department Head regularly on progress, particularly in areas of priority to meet predetermined programmes.

**Qualifications**:

- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 10 years related experience in Piping repairs within a Ship Repair Establishment.

**Salary**: AED10,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
