Job Overview
Accomplishes project objectives by planning, executing and controlling project activities for **solar PV projects**.
Duties & Responsibilities
General duties
- Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
- Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; resolving problems; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
- Meets financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing budgets and project payment plans with required contribution from operations manager finance department
Specific duties
- Confirm project specifications (with project team) by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
- Evaluate and confirm (with project team) the technical designs and drawing produced from technical department according to site condition
- Confirm and maintain quality assurance plan (with quality officers and HSE head) regarding project implementation
- Plan the project team needed trainings for successful project execution
- Provide technical reports to the project manager in relation to project schedule, needs, problems and overall issues
- Supervision and management of project construction related tasks
- Maintains project database by writing computer programs; entering and backing up data.
Qualifications & skills
- Engineering degree with minimum 6 year experience in construction site work. Preferably in Solar PV projects.
- Skills to include developing Budgets, Coaching, Supervision, Staffing, Management Proficiency, Process Improvement, Tracking Budget Expenses, Self-Development, Planning, Performance Management, Inventory Control, Verbal Communication
- Good technical reporting and computer skills
- Good planning and scheduling skills backed up with a well-known project management software experience
- Good human interaction skills
**Salary**: From AED10,000.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
