Advanced Paramedic

One of our Healthcare Client in Abu Dhabi are looking for **Advanced Paramedic** for their projects in Abu Dhabi

**Responsibility**:

- Conducts comprehensive assessments including neurological and detailed cardiac assessments, detailed chest auscultation and tests.
- Performs advanced airway management including endotracheal intubation, and surgical airway access; maintains a patient’s airway by using oropharyngeal or nasopharyngeal airways adjuncts, or by way of nasal or oral intubation (breathing tube insertion), or surgical cricothyrotomy for adults or needle cricothyrotomy for paediatrics, and performs oral and intra-tracheal suctioning.
- Manages patient’s respiratory functions, monitors blood oxygen levels and administers oxygen as required.
- Provide emergency medical assistance, such as CPR or bandaging a wound
- Quickly and efficiently assess a patient’s condition and determine the best course of treatment
- Transport patients safely in an ambulance
- Provide first aid or life support to patients who are sick or injured
- Transfer patients to the emergency area of the hospital or other healthcare facility
- Report what they saw and did to doctors, nurses or other healthcare staff
- Document what kind of medical treatment was given to the patient from the moment of arriving at the scene to transferring the patient to the healthcare facility
- Replace, clean and buy inventory of supplies and equipment
- resuscitating and stabilising patients
- establishing and maintaining an airway in a stepwise approach
- stopping severe haemorrhage
- using high-tech equipment, such as a defibrillator, pulse oximeters and end-tidal oxygen
- administering intravenous drips, drugs and oxygen

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Currently registered as an EMT/Paramedic in DHA with Advanced Paramedic License.
- **Western and EU countries**:

- High degree of personal integrity and responsibility.
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision, using good judgment and common sense with a thorough understanding of the principles of emergency medical care at the paramedic level.
- Proven experience as a paramedic
- Knowledge of medical procedures, terminology and medications
- Ability to stay calm and make the right decisions in adverse conditions
- Adaptable with a great deal of stamina
- Excellent working knowledge of medical equipment and devices
- Integrity and compassion towards human pain
- Valid driver’s license
- Certified CPR Instructor
