**Job Title: MEP Procurement**

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Receive and verify purchase requests from site projects and internal departments.
- Ensure descriptions, specifications, and quantities align with BOQ.
- Send inquiries to suppliers, evaluating stock availability, prices, quality, delivery times, and terms.
- Present procurement details to project sites or departments for approval.
- Prepare local purchase orders, re-verifying specifications and prices.
- Seek supplier recommendations for substitute items, emphasizing cost-effective and quality-conscious procurement.
- Collaborate with sites and storekeepers to monitor stock levels.
- Track orders, follow up with vendors, and ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate logistics for material collection, minimizing costs.
- Communicate with suppliers to schedule deliveries and address discrepancies.
- Evaluate supplier performance, conduct interviews, and negotiate agreements.
- Maintain supplier records and contact information for future reference.
- Maintain procurement records, invoices, and correspondence.
- Reconcile accounting procedures and organize LPO filing systems.
- Negotiate favourable payment terms and credit approvals.
- Update the Project Control sheet regularly to monitor purchases.
- **Must Require knowledge for MEP Suppliers in UAE**
- **Qualifications**:_

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

- Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical) or equivalent or bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline, is often preferred
- Professional certification in Procurement is preferred.
- Must have knowledge of QuickBooks software

**Experience**:

- Procurement or related role 3+ years (MEP contracting company)

**Languages**:

- English (preferred)
- Arabic Speaker an advantage

**Requirement**:

- Immediate availability
- UAE driving license (optional)
- Proven experience as a procurement assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and supply chain management.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach.
- Proficient in using procurement software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Negotiation skills and an understanding of contract management.
- Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.

**Work Location**:

- **Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)**

**Salary**: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
