Sharjah, United Arab Emirates Nursery in Muweilah Full time

The nurse will be responsible for:
Ø Acts as a role model in promoting a healthy lifestyle

Ø Administer first aid to students and staff as needed

Ø Providing all medical care for welfare of children in any sickness and accidents occurring during nursery’s hours

Ø Maintaining each child's medical records; monitor and maintain growth and physical development records of students.

Ø Measure height and weight of student at the start of academic term and at the end.

Ø Submitting weekly report to the management

Ø Keeps daily log to list students who visit the nurse’s clinic or needs special attention

Ø Follow policies and procedures of the Nursery

Ø Taking care of medical equipment on site, accessories for medical care assistance

Ø Able to be prepared for doctor’s visits /prepare for health authority inspections

Ø Record keeping for expiry and breakage/replacement etc.

Ø Crisis / disaster management / risk management for overall Nursery’s affairs

Ø Emergency medical condition management

Ø Acute illness management

Ø Infectious disease prevention and management

Ø Organising workloads to facilitate management and admin

Ø Collaborate with others to build student and family for adaptation, self management, self advocacy and learning

Ø Collaborates with staff, students, parents and other professionals to assess health needs and develop a school health plan

Ø Aware of and willing to promote the nursery’s health and safety policies and practices

Ø Utilizes critical thinking, time management, problem solving skills in management of care

Ø Provide case management services

Ø Administers medications as per MOH guidelines

Ø Directs immunization program

Ø Provide training for staff pertaining updated healthcare and safety measurements

Ø Appropriate delegation of care (initial assessment, training, competency validation, supervision, and evaluation)

Ø Liaison between school personnel, family, community, and health care providers

Ø Accepts accountability for own actions and decision making

Ø Practices within the legal framework of the UAE; maintains current license to practice and follows the UAE nursing code of conduct

Ø Develops community partnerships to promote health of community

Ø Encouraging participation in other projects in accordance with the SOP targets and as agreed with the Senior Management Team

Ø Responsible to take any other duties as required by management time to time

**Salary**: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- nursing: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- MOH or DHA license (required)
