**Job description**

As a Purchase Coordinator in the building material trading industry in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), you will play a crucial role in facilitating the procurement process and ensuring the smooth flow of materials.

**Responsibilities**:

- Purchase Order Management: Generate and manage purchase orders for building materials based on requirements, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, delivery schedules, and pricing terms.
- Supplier Coordination: Maintain regular communication with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials. Address any issues or concerns related to orders, including quality, quantity, and delivery schedules. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering positive collaborations.
- Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate records of materials received and issued. Coordinate with the warehouse team to ensure proper storage and organization of materials. Conduct regular stock reconciliations and generate reports as needed.
- Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, invoices, delivery notes, and contracts. Ensure adherence to documentation requirements and compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Price and Cost Analysis: Conduct price and cost analysis to ensure competitive pricing and cost-effectiveness. Compare prices from different suppliers and negotiate pricing terms to obtain the best value for the company. Keep track of price fluctuations and market trends.
- Vendor Evaluation: Assist in the evaluation and selection of vendors based on criteria such as quality, reliability, pricing, and delivery performance. Conduct vendor assessments and provide feedback to the procurement team for supplier performance evaluation.
- Coordination with Internal Teams: Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, and other internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines. Ensure effective communication and coordination between the procurement team and other departments involved in the procurement process.
- Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to procurement and logistics in the UAE. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards during the procurement process.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, or coordination within the building material trading industry in the UAE.
- Familiarity with procurement processes, supply chain management, and logistics.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills for effective vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record keeping.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with UAE laws and regulations related to procurement and logistics.

**Salary**: AED1,500.00 - AED2,000.00 per month
