Poultry Manager

Oversee poultry production (eggs) as per production plan
- Mentor and train employees to raise birds of good quality and in accordance with the organization’s protocols and standards
- Ensure that designated protocols are followed for care, feeding, watering, pasturing, bedding, and sheltering of birds
- Supervise the protocols for the humane treatment of birds
- Ensure that highly safe and hygienic work practices are maintained
- Confers with farm manager to ascertain production requirements and to discuss condition of equipment and status of supplies
- Assigns workers to duties, such as collecting and candling eggs, feeding and vaccinating poultry, crating, cleaning and fumigating chicken houses
- Analyze training needs assessment reports and findings of tram members
- Trains new member and existing team members on various tasks
- Develop training modules and prepare detailed training plans
- Directs maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment, such as chicken houses, automatic feeders, and layer nests
- Supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in raising poultry
- Provide technical advice on issues raised pertaining to poultry
- Ensures the preparation of various reports like egg production report, feed consumption report, poultry mortality reports and employee attendance report
- Participates in work activities to expedite work load
- Managing and motivating team members
- Responsible to keep healthy flock to reduce mortality as per set KPI
- Responsible for operation of egg collection and reduce wastage as per set targets
- Monitor order and plan requirement for feed throughout all different stages
- Monitor different stage from hatching to get adult chicken
- Responsible for the hatching operation
- Responsible to maintain all certification requirements as per company standards
- Other tasks deemed appropriate by the CEO/ Director of Agri-operations
- The job description and the site of employment can be revised as per the requirements and on the discretion of the Company

**Salary**: AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
