**About our client**
We are working with a prestigious global investor based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking to bring on a VP or SVP to join their entertainment investments team. The position is focused on bringing in IPs, media rights and maximising the existing infrastructure for gaming, Esports, community engagement and sports events. **What the job involves**
- Strategic planning and execution, including bringing in intellectual property (IP) and media rights.
- Oversight of the existing entertainment portfolio with a focus on gaming, community engagement, events, and sports.
- Maximizing utilisation of existing infrastructure and increasing community engagement.
- Developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for the entertainment sector and managing significant capital deployment across various investment vehicles.
- Directing the development of pitch decks and investment proposals to present to the Investment Committee.
**Who we are looking for**
- Extensive buy side investment experience in gaming, Esports, sports, and community engagement.
- Strong understanding of the value chain within the entertainment industry.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and growth in the entertainment sector with the ability to develop and execute a comprehensive strategy.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- A Bachelor's and/or Master's, degree from a top-tier university.
- The ability to be based full-time in Abu Dhabi (relocation if required).
