The Safety Officer will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and stakeholders by overseeing safety-related activities both at our base location in Dubai and various project sites in the MEA (Middle East and Africa) region.
- Lead implementation of site specific standards and guidelines.
- Promote safe culture among employees by ensuring corrective measures are Perform frequent site safety audits to identify all non-compliance equipment and/or processes at the site.
- Assist in carrying out risk assessment for the company activities and recommend any changes that may be necessary.
- Work with the Operations team to implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks and prevent injury.
- Monitor the company’s operations, processes and procedures to ensure that they comply with health and safety regulations.
- Attend to any incidents and occupational injury cases on site
- Guide and assist senior managers on incident investigations
- Ensure the PPE inventory at the site and coordinate with procurement for order placement.
- Ensure basic firefighting training and first aid training completion.
- Attend required professional training for development and internal safety meetings
- Preparing risk assessments and emergency response plans.

**Required Qualifications**:

- NEBOSH Diploma
- 5 years minimum experience in a similar Health & Safety role
- Experience in a Engineer/Robotic division
- Works well within a team environment

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or Engineering/Science bachelor degree
- Strong communication, teamwork, analysis and judgment skills
- Ability to adapt well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
- Is driven and pushes for self-development and growth
- Ability to analyze accident data, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses
- Experienced in emergency response and currently holds First aid and CPR certificates
