**POSITION OBJECTIVE**

To ensure that the testing of raw materials (base oils and additives), empty packaging materials and finished products is carried out as per the laid down quality standards. To conduct various tests as per the standard test methods, applicable in the laboratory and also as per the client requirements. To maintain the client confidentiality and follow the GOMEL ethical practices while on job.

**DO — Key Responsibilities**
- Responsible for inspection, testing and compliance of raw materials like base oils, additives and dyes etc using standard procedures.
- Responsible for conformity of blended products to specifications.
- Responsible for giving the batch corrections to meet the product to specifications.
- Responsible for adjustment of base oils ratio in the batches to accommodate the variation in the base oil properties.
- Responsible for conformity of genuine oil products to client specification reqt
- Responsible for testing of various lubricating oils, transformer oils, coolants, and brake fluids for production samples or for third party samples.
- Responsible for conformity of filled finished product to specifications.
- Responsible for conformity of packing material to specifications
- Responsible for informing about the non-conformances to QM
- Responsible for testing of used oil samples.
- Responsible for making test reports for the finished products.
- Responsible for implementation and adhering to ISO 17025 system.
- To ensure compliance to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/45001 standards

**Basic Qualification / Education / Vocational Training**

Graduate in chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related degree.

**Qualification / Certification / Specialist Training**

**Minimum Experience**

3 years in similar job or QC related functions
