**Job Title: Construction Estimator/Construction calculator**

**Job Overview**:
The Construction Estimator plays a crucial role in analyzing and estimating the costs associated with construction projects. This individual is responsible for preparing accurate and comprehensive cost estimates, should know very well about design, construction, measurements and software's used for designs and calculation specially AutoCAD with proven experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Cost Estimation**:

- Analyze project plans and specifications to determine the scope of work.
- Calculate material, labor, and equipment costs based on project requirements.
- Research and gather pricing information for construction materials and services.
- Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain accurate cost data.
- **Quantitative Analysis**:

- Perform quantity takeoffs and measurements from construction drawings.
- Evaluate and estimate the quantity and cost of materials required for each project phase.
- Utilize construction estimating software and tools to streamline calculations.
- **Budget Preparation**:

- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for bidding purposes.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to understand project goals.
- Assist in developing project budgets and providing cost input for proposals.
- **Cost Monitoring**:

- Monitor actual project costs against estimated costs.
- Analyze and report on any variances between estimated and actual costs.
- Provide recommendations for cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- **Documentation**:

- Maintain a comprehensive database of historical cost data for reference in future estimates.
- Document assumptions and methodologies used in cost calculations.
- Prepare and present clear and detailed cost estimates to project teams and management.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with various construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
- **Analytical Skills**:

- Strong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculations.
- Ability to interpret and analyze construction drawings and specifications.
- **Communication Skills**:

- Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ability to convey complex cost information in a clear and understandable manner.
- **Attention to Detail**:

- Meticulous attention to detail in order to produce accurate and reliable cost estimates.
- Thorough understanding of the factors influencing construction costs.
- **Technical Proficiency**:

- Proficient in construction estimating software and tools.
- Knowledge of relevant software such as Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar tools is a plus.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Willingness to adapt to evolving project requirements and timelines.

**Salary**: AED2,500.00 - AED3,500.00 per month

- Dubai (required)
