**About The Job**

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialty Sous Chef with expertise in wok cuisine to join our team at Lng Lingi. As a Specialty Sous Chef specializing in wok cooking, you will play a vital role in managing and organizing the wok station within our kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and quality. Working closely with the Chef de Cuisine, you will uphold standard operating procedures and deliver an exceptional dining experience. Your culinary talents, leadership skills, and mastery of wok cooking techniques will be instrumental in the overall success of our daily kitchen operations.

**About You**
- Asian food experiences, thai, korean, or chinese
- 5 - 7 years' experience in international cuisine in a five-star hotel
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in wok cooking techniques
- Proven experience in managing and organizing a high-volume kitchen operation
- English language and commuiccation skills
- Asian food experiences, thai, korean, or chinese. I would like to narrow our search for chinese if possible.
- Exceptional leadership abilities to guide and develop staff, including direct reports
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with the kitchen team
- Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- A keen eye for detail to ensure consistency and the highest quality standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Manages kitchen shift operations and ensures compliance with all Food & Beverage policies, standards and procedures.
- To train, develop the Culinary colleagues, according to the monthly training plan, comment cards, hygiene reports and any other highlighted areas for fine tuning/development that would benefit the department
- Estimates daily production needs on a weekly basis and communicates production needs to kitchen personnel daily
- Assist in determining how food should be presented
- Maintain purchasing, receiving and food storage standards
- Ensure compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- Leads shifts while personally preparing food items and executing requests based on required specifications
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is working to the standard required and if issues are found that they are reported to the engineering team
- Identify market changes and trends driving improvements and efficiencies
- Conduct departmental orientation for all new team members
