Tool Pusher

**Position**: Tool Pusher

**Location**: Abu Dhabi

**Rotation**: First rotation - 90/30 Subsequent rotations - 60/30

**Shift Time**: 12 Hours

The Tool Pusher assumes responsibility for all drilling rig modules and equipment.

This position is also responsible for supervising the drill crew, for all drilling and well intervention activities, and for the health & safety of all personnel working within their team.

**Responsibility**

Liaising closely with their Rig Manager on all key issues.

Supervising all drilling, work over and well maintenance activities, including the management of the integrated services contractors and support personnel, to ensure that all operations meet contractual quality and performance criteria.

Tool Pushers are in charge of ensuring the rig has all necessary tools, equipment, and supplies.

managing the day-to-day drilling operations

Selecting, hiring and managing workers on board the rig and ensuring they are properly trained

Planning the crew’s shifts and rotas & Coping with any emergencies

Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met

Checking employees for use of protective clothing and the correct use of safety equipment

Conducting or ensuring that regular rig inspections are carried out

Assisting other team members, such as the driller and rig manager, with the effective running of the rig.

**Supervisory Responsibilities**:
This position supervises the Driller, Assistant Driller and the other crew (Derrickmen, Floormen, Roustabouts).

**Minimum Qualifications**:
Valid IWCF or IADC Certificate.

Relevant Certification.

Comply with HSE policies and procedures.

Complete Competence system Scheme within 12 months of being assigned.

Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous Experience as Tool Pusher on similar rigs.
- More than Two years of experience as Driller

**Salary**: AED7,500.00 - AED12,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
