Jr. Accountant

Job Title: Junior Accountant Position Type: Full-time Experience Level: Minimum 2 years Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Executive Cost Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Senior Executive Cost Accountant, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing the company's financial performance by overseeing cost accounting processes, conducting financial analyses, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. Responsibilities: Cost Accounting: -Manage and oversee all aspects of cost accounting, including cost analysis, cost allocation, and cost control. -Implement and maintain cost accounting systems to ensure accurate capture and reporting of costs. Financial Analysis: -Conduct thorough financial analyses to identify areas for cost reduction, process improvement, and overall financial efficiency. -Provide insights and recommendations to senior management based on financial analyses. Bookkeeping: -Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records through meticulous bookkeeping. -Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and relevant regulations. Balance Sheet Management: -Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements. -Identify and resolve discrepancies, and provide explanations for variances. Bank Reconciliation: -Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded. -Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between bank statements and internal records. Financial Reporting: -Prepare and present timely and accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. -Collaborate with internal and external auditors during the audit process. Budgeting and Forecasting: -Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts. -Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, providing variance analysis. Experience and Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. -Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in cost accounting. -Proven experience in bookkeeping, balance sheet reconciliation, and bank reconciliation. Required Skills: -Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. -Proficient in financial modeling and analysis. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. -Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
