Due to our expansion and growth, a career opportunity has arisen for a Pricing Estimator - Tile Cutting & Fabrication to manage facilitate ongoing internal sales enquiries.

**About the role**

The Pricing Estimator has the responsibility for estimating the cost of a project, product, and cutting service from the Slab Fabrication Facility. This entails researching prices of the various components involved to build pricing estimates from raw materials. In some circumstances also propose new materials, options, cutting or fabrication solutions to suit the customer enquiry.

This role supports the sales teams with their proposals, tracking and evaluating costs, understanding the customer’s requirements, and calculating the final production price for the project, product, or service requested. It’s required to evaluate the financial, technical, and operational risks of enquiries to understand the variables involved. This includes pricing and how to position the costings to ensure it’s competitive. Collaborating with the Purchasing Team and possibly with manufacturers, to solicit improved pricing based on Project volumes for both core materials and consumables.

In conjunction with each Division, there may be a need to collaborate with Designers and Contractors, in addition to maintaining excellent communication and relationships with both sales and operational colleagues. They will also analyse plans, drawings, quantity requirements and or other project documentation to generate costings. Also, proactively propose alternatives in terms of product selection or design requirements to identify opportunities to improve pricing competitiveness.

**About You**

You are a meticulous pricing estimator with a background and experience in tiles and slab products or equivalent materials. You’re familiar with cutting and fabrication methodologies, and technical drawings to develop cost estimates. You have a good understanding of construction processes, and onsite requirements would be a distinct advantage.

You thrive in high-pressure environments, able to manage multiple enquiries with a commercial eye for detail. You are creative when it comes to problem solving, always looking for the opportunity to improve proposals. You are collaborative by nature, team spirited with positive and proactive communication in all interactions.

The role is based in the Slab Fabrication Facility in Jebel Ali and may require local travel to showrooms, offices and customer sites where needed.
