As an Art Teacher at Diyar Private Academy, you will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and supportive learning environment for young students. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality learning experiences, promoting student engagement, and fostering a love for learning.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Quality of Learning**:
Plan and implement engaging and interactive art lessons that promote active learning and critical thinking skills. Use assessment data to track student progress and tailor instruction accordingly.
- **Conditions for Learning**:
Establish positive relationships with students and parents to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
- **Developing Learning in and beyond the Classroom**:
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic and personal growth. Celebrate student achievements and share examples of outstanding learning with colleagues.
- **Evaluating Learning**:
Implement assessment strategies to monitor student learning and progress. Reflect on teaching practices and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance instructional effectiveness.
- **Evaluating Curriculum and Assessment**:
Contribute to the review and enhancement of the art curriculum based on student learning data. Provide guidance and support to colleagues in curriculum implementation and assessment practices.
- **Professional Development**:
Continuously strive to improve teaching practices and pedagogical skills. Collaborate with fellow educators to develop and implement peer professional development programs.

**Direct Line Management**:

- Reporting to Head of Department

**Qualifications**:

- Qualified Teacher Status or Certification in respective country (with attestation and equivalency)
- MOE Approval
- Degree and relevant Post Graduate qualification in Arts

**Knowledge, Skills, Experience, and Understanding**:

- Strong understanding of education principles and practices
- Commitment to professional development and continuous improvement
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High standards of professionalism and ethical conduct
- Willingness to challenge decisions that do not support student learning
