**The Opportunity**

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced FP&A Manager - MENA (Middle East, Europe, North Africa), to join our Finance team on a full-time basis.

Reporting to the MENA Finance lead, the primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for FP&A activities for the MENA region and providing support where needed for controllership activities run out of Egypt.
- Partner with the MENA commercial and functional leads and provide financial insights, identify risks and opportunities, and evaluate return on investment for commercial initiatives.
- Support and lead the business with strong analytical and commercial expertise to continuously enhance business value and achieve/exceed financial targets.
- Providing support to the Controlling team for the GCC region where needed to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and the integrity of the general ledger in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and financial policies and procedures.
- Key accountabilities include:_
- **FP&A / Management Reporting**
- Deliver timely, accurate and insightful management reports as the business requires.
- Be the trusted Partner for the GCC commercial leader and management team on all financial matters. Participate actively in meetings and ensure that the team understands the financial implications.
- Provide competitive analysis, external benchmarking, customer and channel analysis that aims at identifying business & financial opportunities and risks, driving the development of action plans
- Perform detailed financial analysis including financial modelling, profitability analysis, monitoring business issues and impact on the bottom line.
- Assist in preparing executive and internal management reporting packages, including analytical review and associated commentary.
- Support the regional Finance team with timely, accurate and meaningful analysis of the GCC business and all submissions are on time
- Lead GCC in the annual Budget, Strategic Plan and monthly forecasts of the financials of the company, leveraging BI tools (Workday Adaptive, Power BI) to increase the accuracy and reliability of data
- Collaborate with marketing and supply chain operational teams to ensure financial objectives are being met.
- **Controlling Support**
- Develop and own GTN/Trade spend process for MENA based on historical trends/forward commercial initiatives on a monthly basis with controlling team
- Ensures compliance with Local GAAP, Tax and any other statutory requirements.
- Monitor & control expenditures ensure expenses will be incurred within the approved Plan/Budget.
- Establish internal control systems to ensure that financial policies/procedures (both local and international) are adhered to.
- **Others**
- Identify areas for improvement. Implement new processes to support the business's growing needs and ensure that any changes are communicated for effective implementation.
- Other projects as and when required

**About You**

To be successful in this role, you will possess a relevant Accounting/Finance or equivalent Degree with at least 8 years of working experience in financial accounting. CPA/CA will be highly preferred
- Other key requirements for this role include: _
- Big 4 trained will be highly preferred
- Proficient in MS Office including strong Excel skills.
- Experience with SQL and ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx) for data analytics
- Experience in SAP/TM1/Workday Adaptive will be an advantage
- Experienced working in a MNC environment
- Preferably experienced in FMCG/Pharmaceutical/Medical Device industry
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Ability to professionally communicate in English and Arabic, both written and spoken
