**Qualifications of the AISA Primary School Principal**
- Graduate degree in education or educational leadership
- Proven leadership experience in senior school administration roles
- Track record of driving successful change management initiatives
- Demonstrated improvements in educational quality and student outcomes

Reporting to the School Director, the Elementary Principal provides instructional leadership and oversees all aspects of curriculum, professional development, operations, and resources for the Elementary School division.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drives continuous improvement through establishing a productive, professional working environment aligned to AISA's mission and policies
- Manages division finances, facilities, personnel decisions and general administration
- Actively participates in hiring and retention processes including terminations
- Ensures consistent implementation of school guidelines, procedures and policies while advising the School Director on potential enhancements
- Establishes special regulations specific to the Elementary School with approval from the Director

**Outcomes**

The Elementary Principal is an integral leadership role responsible for the excellence of the Elementary School division. Through strategic leadership of department heads, faculty, and operations, the Principal enables achievement of AISA's mission and prepares students for future success.
