A s an Airline Operations Product Owner, you will have experience of on-board service systems or knowledge of in-flight and cabin systems and processes such as IFE, on-board retail, wifi connectivity etc. preferably within a large international airline or a service provider to airlines and/or aviation companies. You will act as the bridge between the software engineering teams and your stakeholders. You will help to define the vision of the products we create; drive the planning, prioritisation and execution of backlogs and deliver new features that support our strategic goals.

In this role, you will:

- Support the Technical Product Manager and Stakeholders driving the roadmap, based on insights, and champion this across your engineering teams
- Drive product development through your engineering and scrum teams
- Write user stories, prioritise backlogs, manage release activities and support sprint ceremonies
- Define detailed use cases, product requirements, and technical specs needed to support roadmap initiatives.
- Set product objectives, define success metrics and deliver business outcomes, ensuring KPIs and targets are met
- Continuously innovate and iterate as you deliver your roadmap in order to provide the best product and solutions possible
- Ensure effective collaboration across a diverse range of teams and stakeholders to balance the needs and priorities of the business and our customers.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, delivery, architecture, and business partners
- Deliver world class user journeys that our customers value
- Be a part of our Product community, focusing on collaboration and identifying opportunities of improvement and growth.
- Be able to analyse business functionality changes and determine features and stories that clearly articulate the full range of amendments/enhancements that need to be done to both vendor and in-house systems.
- Refine user stories elaborating them clearly with detailed acceptance criteria, dependencies etc. highlighted.
- Document process flows to illustrate to-be states and changes to information flow.
- Conduct discoveries/feasibilities that potentially lead to RFI/RFT with the ability to manage those to conclusion with detailed vendor evaluations.
- Own the entire lifecycle of the Product including but not limited to the product roadmap, associated dependencies etc.
- At times be required to engage, drive and manage vendor priorities and activities pertaining to your prioritised backlog.

**Qualifications & Experience: You’ll have an edge if you have**:

- Bachelor's degree and 5+ years’ experience in product ownership/management in a ‘team facing’ capacity
- Whilst not essential, some experience of working within an agile environment, across multiple initiatives and teams
- Appetite for building and identifying value, with a customer centric mind-set.
- Well-versed with the tools for the Product Management aspects of software delivery
- Possess strong communication skills and be able to enthusiastically convey your Product Vision to stakeholders and effectively influence a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation.
- A positive attitude and an ability to drive discernible change and delivery, at pace, in a pressurised environment
- Build strong relationships with peers and team members
- Agile and innovative mind-set with the tenacity to adapt and thrive in a constantly changing environment.

**How You'll Work**:

- In cross-functional squads - (Product Owner + Scrum Master + Developers + QA’s),
- We work within the Atlassian suite, maintaining our backlogs in JIRA and leveraging Confluence for knowledge management
- Customer centric mind-set, the customer is the focal point of delivering products, services, and experiences.
- Leveraging your domain knowledge and experience to solve complex business problems and support them in achieving their goals
- We’re full time back in office here in Dubai at Emirates
