**Financial Controller Manager (fix term contract - 18 months)**

**What this position is about - Purpose**:
In this role, you will be responsible for developing internal controls and policies for the ME & Global Shisha cluster and implementing SAP for the Dubai Entity by Sep '24.
This position requires strong analytical and audit skills to reinforce, develop controls and processes in line with JTI policies, operating guidelines, IFRS and local regulatory requirements.

**What will you do - Responsibilities**:

- **SAP Implementation**:
Lead the SAP implementation of the new Entity that will be created in Dubai by aligning with the Project manager and the stakeholders involved in the Data Preparation, Testing, validation and migration
- **Controlling**:
Audit of existing internal controls, identify risks and develop internal controls and processes to be reinforced and amended to ensure a robust control environment.
Ensure accuracy and data integrity by reinforcing the control framework in line with JTI policies and procedures.
- **Financial Governance**:
Provide full and regular guidance and training to all the functions on existing policies and procedures and compliance with Operating Guidelines, JSOX and other internal controls.
Act as the local coordinator for BAP / Memo.
- **Audit**:
Monitor and maintain controls and compliance procedures and align with the management on any risks to take prompt and corrective actions.
Engage with the Team to solidify and increase internal awareness of policies and procedures and ensure that the business operates following JTI Operating guidelines.

**Who are we looking for - Requirements**:

- You have a University Degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting. A masters degree would be a plus
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Financial controller role, preferably in a multi-national FMCG organization or big Four Audit Firms
- Fluent in English
- Computer literate, accounting software knowledge, exposure to SAP/ERP environment
- Functional skills: Strategy, communication, negotiation, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Good time management & decision making skills
- Process/project management experience
