As a “Beauty Therapist,”, you will be expected to deliver a professional, timely and high-quality

service experience to all clients. You will be expected to give 100% within your performance at all

times throughout your daily allocated hours of work.

As per the company policy, you will be responsible for adhering to and abiding by the specific

guidelines set within. This will include:

- Service delivery standards and expectations
- Cleaning and hygiene maintenance of your workstation
- Being responsible for all your assigned tools and equipment
- Professional, neatly and well-groomed personal appearance
- Friendliness and team support in a professional manner.

As a Beauty Therapist, you are to provide extensive services, as per your qualifications and any

additional training that may be given, including but not limited to manicure/pedicure services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Ensure smooth operations of the Salon Grooming and beauty sections through proper

management of own working area and to liaise frequently with reception staff on

appointments.
- To ensure all grooming and beauty services which are delivered are a high standard at all

times.
- To ensure all grooming and beauty technicians adhere to the schedule set of duty and

appropriate action taken if standards not met.
- Do not discuss personal business, religious or political matters with client.
- Knowledge of the Salon services and products.
- Ensure efficient management of all stocks-stored and consumed during grooming and beauty

services delivered.
- Report any complaints to the salon or operations manager
- Accept all bookings for all grooming and beauty services available at the salon to maximize

department and individual target given by the manager of salon.
- Any other duties deemed reasonable by management.

OPERATIONS RELATED
- Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of all Grooming and beauty areas, in

accordance with the Health and Safety and hygiene legislation.
- To oversee requisitioning of stock by salon section.
- Will be responsible for the stock control, stock takes and orders as requested by the Salon

manager.
- Demonstrate courtesy to guests and other members of staff at all times. Managing client or

staff complain in the most elegant manner. Report any major situation to Salon Manager or

Salon assistant manager.
- Will perform duties in a highly professional manner with a friendly attitude and conduct all

duties and responsibilities as required by the position or assigned by the Salon Manager.
- Immediately attend to any customer remarks and maintain a good customer relation at any

time.

SALES AND MARKETING RELATED
- Responsible for achieving sales targets as set by the Salon Manager.
- Will be expected to assist and perform various demonstrations and event

Appearance:

- Badge and uniform / Special attire with Salon logo to be worn at all times.
- Hair if long, to be tied back.
- Nails to be manicured and neat at all times.
- No item of jewelry to be worn and stud type only earrings allowed.

Conduct on the Job:

- You will demonstrate a pleasant and ultra-caring personality to clients.
- You will demonstrate respect, sensitivity, and concern for guests' needs with a professional

and pleasant manner.
- You shall not disclose any personal information of the Salon client to other members of staff or

staff outside of the Salon.
- Food and drinks are not allowed within the Salon premises at any given time.
- As a member of staff you shall not use area assigned for clients nor share bathrooms and

lavatory designated to the respective Salon client.
- No chewing gum or usage of mobile phone within company premise

Internal Requirements:

- Insure Cleanness of the Grooming and beauty stations work areas and equipment to the

highest hygienic standard.
- Attend any company training and be able to implement in your practice.

Effectiveness:

- Reach sales target as directed by management and record all sales daily.
- Promote and inform client of services and products offered by the salon
- Ensure efficient management of all stock including: keeping track of professional items used by

yourself monthly basis. Be fully responsible of the tools and stocks given for use under your team

supervision.

Skills abilities and knowledge:

- Ensure proper knowledge of the job
- Excellent customer care skills
- Attentive to details.
- Able and willing to receive decisive instructions.
- A pleasant personality which is able to attract and retain customers.
