**Key Responsibilities**:

- ** Naval Project Planning**:

- Lead the planning and execution of naval projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, objectives, deliverables, and key milestones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless project execution.
- ** Contract Management**:

- Oversee the development and negotiation of contracts related to naval projects.
- Ensure all contracts are aligned with project goals, budget constraints, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues that arise during the project lifecycle.
- ** Cost and Budgeting**:

- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring accurate forecasting, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
- Track project costs against budgets, identifying and mitigating any potential overruns.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to optimize project efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- ** Scheduling and Timeline Management**:

- Create and manage detailed project schedules using advanced scheduling tools and software.
- Monitor project progress against timelines, adjusting schedules as necessary to address delays or changes in scope.
- Ensure all project activities are completed on time, coordinating with stakeholders to resolve any scheduling conflicts.
- ** Tools and Systems**:

- Utilize industry-standard project management and scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) to plan and track project progress.
- Implement best practices in project management, continuously improving processes and tools to enhance project outcomes.
- ** Stakeholder Communication**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and issues.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports to senior management and other stakeholders.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in naval project planning, with a strong understanding of naval engineering principles and practices.
- Expertise in contract management, including cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools and project management software, with the ability to create and manage complex project schedules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.

**Additional Information**
Other activities:

- Carries out internal quality control: checks the consistency of the engineering deliverables - Takes part in the management of experience feedback from previous projects
- Reports to the team manager on activity progress

Perm or initial 12m+ FTC with likelihood of extension plus Segula benefits package. Salary depending on experience.
