The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company’s safety policies and programs. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits of the workplace.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, and near misses.
- Conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees.
- Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities and incidents.
- Collaborate with management and employees to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Prepare and submit safety reports to regulatory bodies as required.
- Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the organization.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar safety certification is preferred.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in a safety officer role, preferably in [industry].
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
