**ROLE PURPOSE**:
As a Career Counselor at English Path, you will be responsible for providing personalised career guidance and support to students and alumni seeking to enhance their English language skills and explore diverse career opportunities. Your role is vital in assisting individuals to make informed decisions about their educational and professional pathways, ensuring they achieve their language learning and career development goals.

**ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To place students in part-time employment during their studies.
- To place all students on work experience programmes and internships
- Assist students finding employment after their studies.
- Create, develop, and maintain a large network of employers and recruitment agencies for English Path.
- Provide personalised career counseling to students and alumni.
- Assist individuals in identifying suitable career paths based on their English language skills and personal aspirations.
- Develop individualised career action plans and educational pathways for students.
- Offer support in resume and cover letter preparation, emphasizing language proficiency and relevant skills.
- Advise students on effective job search strategies, including using online job portals, networking, and leveraging the school's resources to find relevant job opportunities.
- Conduct mock interviews and provide feedback to improve interview skills.
- Maintain strong alumni engagement and support their career progression.
- Stay updated with labor market trends and share industry-specific information with students.
- Collaborate with employers and industry professionals to create internships and job opportunities.
- Organise workshops, seminars, and career-related events to enhance employability skills.
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and student outcomes.

**ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**:

- Bachelor’s degree in counseling, Education, Career Development, or a related field.
- Experience in career counseling, preferably in an educational setting or language school environment.
- Familiarity with labor market trends, job search strategies, and recruitment practices.
- Strong knowledge of the English language.
- Multilingual abilities and cross-cultural awareness are beneficial.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse students and build meaningful relationships.
- Ability to use assessment tools to evaluate students' language proficiency and career aptitudes.

**Salary**: AED10,000.00 per month
