Accutax Consultancy & Accounting is a local business partner specializing in all accounting, reporting projects, and VAT in UAE. Their GCC and Middle East wide tax experience in policy, procedures, and implementation is the expertise needed for the changing business environment in the region.

**Role Description**:
This is a full-time on-site role located in Dubai for 1 Tax Accountant. These roles requires fluency in Arabic. The tax accountant will be responsible for the preparation and filing of VAT returns, liaising with clients on VAT compliance issues, and providing input to tax advisory assignments. The Tax Accountant is also responsible for bookkeeping, general accounting tasks and assisting clients in filing their corporate income tax returns and tax audits.
- Fluent in Arabic, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field
- Minimum of 2years relevant experience in VAT, Accounting, and Tax Compliance in UAE
- Thorough knowledge of UAE tax regulations and standards, as well as VAT regulations and compliance
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as competency in Microsoft Excel and a variety of accounting software packages
- Able to work independently as well as in a team and to meet tight deadlines
- Attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality
- Ability to work well with clients, and to provide sound advice on tax matters in an understandable manner
- Certified Public Accountant, or other relevant professional qualification is a plus
- UAE driver's license is a must
