**Responsibilities**:

- Record and manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries. Verify, allocate, and post financial data to maintain accurate records.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
- Support internal and external audit processes by providing documentation and explanations.
- Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Contact clients and follow up on invoices, ensuring timely payment collection based on credit terms.
- Maintain cash and accurately record cash transactions.
- Prepare accrual and prepaid expenses reports.
- Coordinate with the HR Department regarding payroll.
- Perform bank reconciliation.
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to management about accounting status.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
- Preference for those holding professional certificates.
- More than four years of experience in the country.
- Experience with ZOHO Books is preferred.
