**We are a psychology clinic in JLT, looking to recruit experienced Clinical**

**Psychologists and Educational Psychologists to join our expanding team.**

Licensed by Dubai Health Authority (DHA) or Community Development Authority (CDA) we are looking for experienced Psychologists to provide high quality and compassionate care to individuals, children, young people and families. This role will be based in our centrally located clinic, with opportunities to deliver services in our partner schools.

As a growing company, we are seeking confident and passionate practitioners, who will proactively build connections with clients, agencies and schools as they establish their case load.

**Main responsibilities**:

- To provide specialist psychological assessments of individuals and children, gathering information from a range of sources including psycho-educational assessments, self
- report measures, rating scales, observations and clinical interviews.
- Utilise a range of specialist assessment techniques including psychometric testing and developmental assessments.
- To formulate, develop, provide and manage psychological interventions to individuals, families and children through individual therapy and/or family work using various models (e.g. cognitive, behavioural, systemic, developmental).
- To provide support to children with learning difficulties and/or neurodiversity and associated mental health needs.
- Liaise, collaborate and work in an advisory capacity with educational professionals to promote psychological awareness, well-being and current evidenced based practice for children and young people.
- To work collaboratively with Speech and Language Therapists and key professionals to contribute towards multi-disciplinary assessments.
- To write reports as required and provide high quality advice to parents and other professional colleagues regarding the psychological and educational needs of clients on their caseload.
- Provide consultation, specialist advice and/or supervision to colleagues and those in other agencies.
- To demonstrate empathy with students, families and colleagues, ensuring that effective communication is achieved.
- To provide training to schools, parents/carers and other professional colleagues as appropriate.
- Be committed to professional development and continue to develop own specialist interests and expertise as appropriate to the needs of the team and the clinic as a whole.

**Person Specification**

Essential Desirable

Education/Qualifications Licenced by the DHA or CDA Post
- graduate qualifications as a Psychologist in psychotherapy, such as:
MSc or Doctoral level **Trauma-informed degree, accredited by BPS therapy**
**(or equivalent) qualifying ** EMDR you to register as an **Play Therapy**
**Educational or Clinical**
**Psychologist.**

Registered with the Health
& Care Professions Council
UK or equivalent regulatory body

Skills Fluent English speaker Arabic speaker

Demonstrate the ability to be a good team member

Excellent interpersonal skills
- including observation, listening and empathy skills

Demonstrate good analytical and reflection skills

Excellent presentation skills, both written and verbal

Experience At least 2 years post
- Experience of working as a qualification experience Psychologist in the UAE working as a Psychologist

Knowledge Understanding of the Trained in diagnostic Autism psychological assessment assessments e.g. ADOS or and appropriate ADI-R interventions for individuals, children and families.

Ability to use test equipment to carry out psychometric assessments
(e.g. WISC,WPPSI, WAIS, developmental assessment,
Schedule of Growing Skills)

Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in report writing, complex, and/or clinically sensitive information to clients, their families, carers and other professional colleagues.

Understanding of the principles of assessment, intervention and monitoring the progress of children with additional learning needs including severe and complex learning difficulties

Understanding of standards of record keeping and filing.

Knowledge and understanding of
