We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Middle East LLC for a:
Gang Leader - Rigger.

**Job Purpose**:
This position is a unique opportunity for you to work on DEWA Substations Projects.

**Your main duties will be to**:
Control over the labors and site activities
Fit to work at the site during extreme weather conditions.
Capable to take job-related decisions in day-to-day execution
Daily follow-up and reporting to the superiors regarding site progress
Site coordination with party contractors and plot owners.
Miscellaneous urgent jobs assigned by supervisor/ foreman/Manager
Aligning, leveling, and anchoring machinery and materials
Select appropriate gear such as chains, lashing belts, and Lifting belts,s, etc. according to load weights and sizes, facilities, and work schedules.
Ensuring that rigging equipment is dismantled and properly stored after use.
Maintain the calibration reports & inform the supervisor for renewal of calibration.
Carrying out regular inspections on rigging equipment to ensure safety & reliability and report any damage.
Communicating with workers who are engaged in the process of hoisting.
Maintain proper documentation related to material shifting and submit to Engineer.
Ideally, you will have graduated in Diploma in Mechanical with 1-year experience or hold ITI in mechanical with 3-year experience in HV Cable Laying works, Underground utilities, infrastructure works for substations.
You are fluent in English
You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Ideally, you will have graduated in Diploma in Mechanical with 1-year experience or hold ITI in mechanical with 3-year experience in HV Cable Laying works, Underground utilities, infrastructure works for substations.

You are fluent in English

You will have good interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as, a good level of computer literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Office.
