**Responsibilities**:
**1. Data Governance Strategy and Framework**:

- Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance strategy and framework aligned with the organization's objectives and compliance requirements
- Define data governance policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure consistent and effective data management practices
- Establish data ownership and accountability across the organization and promote a data-driven culture

**2. Master Data Management (MDM)**:

- Design, implement, and maintain a robust Master Data Management framework to govern and control the organization's critical data assets
- Define and enforce data quality standards and processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of master data
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and define master data domains, hierarchies, and relationships
- Monitor and assess data quality metrics and implement remediation measures to resolve data issues

**3. Data Governance Implementation**:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, data stewards, business units, and compliance teams, to implement data governance initiatives
- Establish data governance roles and responsibilities, including data stewards and data custodians, and facilitate their engagement in data management activities
- Conduct data risk assessments, identify data-related risks, and implement controls to mitigate risks
- Develop and deliver data governance training and awareness programs to promote understanding and adoption of data governance practices

**4. Data Standards and Policies**:

- Define and maintain data standards, naming conventions, and data dictionaries to ensure consistency and understanding across the organization
- Establish data classification and data protection policies to ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to align data governance practices with regulatory requirements

**5. Data Quality and Compliance**:

- Monitor and measure data quality against established data standards and implement data quality improvement initiatives
- Conduct data audits and assessments to identify data quality issues and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with data protection and privacy regulations, and support the organization's data security and privacy initiatives

**Required Skills**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field
- Proven experience in data governance and master data management, including designing and implementing data governance frameworks and MDM solutions
- Solid understanding of data governance principles, best practices, and industry standards
- Familiarity with data quality management processes and tools
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to data privacy and protection
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at various levels
- Experience with data governance and MDM tools and technologies is a plus
- Certification in data management or data governance (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) is desirable
