**Position Title**: Foreman

**Location**: Dubai Sports City

**Reports To**: Maintenance Supervisor / Manager

**Job Summary**: The Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the work of a crew on construction sites. This role involves managing daily operations, ensuring safety standards are met, and maintaining project schedules. The Foreman will act as a liaison between workers and upper management, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and on time.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Supervision and Leadership**:

- Direct and supervise a team of workers, ensuring that they perform their tasks effectively and safely.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members based on their skills and experience.
- Provide training and guidance to new workers.

**Project Management**:

- Plan and organize daily work schedules and activities.
- Monitor progress and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with other trades and subcontractors as needed.

**Quality Control**:

- Ensure that all work meets quality standards and specifications.
- Inspect work areas and equipment regularly to maintain high standards of quality and safety.
- Address any issues or defects promptly and efficiently.

**Safety Compliance**:

- Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
- Investigate and report accidents or incidents on the job site.

**Communication**:

- Maintain clear and open communication with workers, management, and clients.
- Prepare and submit daily progress reports and other documentation as required.
- Resolve conflicts and issues that may arise on the job site.

**Resource Management**:

- Manage and maintain tools, equipment, and materials.
- Ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
- Order and requisition materials as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred.
- Proven experience as a foreman or in a similar supervisory role in construction.
- In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and safety guidelines.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and other relevant tools.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to work in various weather conditions and environments.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor when necessary.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and operate machinery.

**Work Environment**:

- The Foreman will work primarily on construction sites, which may involve exposure to various weather conditions and physical hazards.
- The role may require working extended hours, including weekends and holidays to meet project deadlines.
