- United Arab Emirates- Closing Date: Mar 31st 2024**MAIN OBJECTIVE OF ROLE**

To manage the strategic portfolio within IT across various cross-functional business areas, including preparing business case preparations, securing capex approval by Cost Review Board, executing plans, monitoring risk management, and ensuring delivery within the approved costs and project timelines.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develops a comprehensive framework, in collaboration with business departments, for constructing business cases, initiating, developing, and executing projects, while also documenting the project’s scope, budget, and justifications.
- Drives the development of an ecosystem of strategic partners that enables the delivery of innovative, cost effective and high-quality business solutions and services.
- Develops and leads the IT partner and supplier strategy for flydubai, overseeing all aspects of the supplier lifecycle to ensure alignment with strategic goals and successful delivery by partners.
- Undertakes strategy creation for contingency planning and project risk mitigation/issue resolution across the flydubai IT projects portfolio.
- Ensures the fulfillment of personnel and cost-related demands within the IT department, facilitating the operational effectiveness of IT lines of business, and overseeing functions that govern the areas of technology business management, IT performance, commercial and contract management, and complex billing.
- Plans and schedules project goals, milestones, and deliverables to ensure conflict amongst the project portfolio does not occur (stakeholder, resourcing, and technology conflict).
- Defines and maintains PMO standards and procedures for all parts of the project life cycle and flydubai development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)
- Leads and guides decision-making that extend beyond the project level, providing a flydubai project portfolio perspective on individual projects, and serving as a sounding board for ideas and approaches to address specific project issues and conflict resolution.
- Identifies and manages cross-project dependencies and risks, recognizing economies of scale and instances of overlap in project goals.
- Reports the progress of projects detailing both advancements and challenges, including risks and issues with associated mitigations and resolutions, and presents corresponding solutions to the C-Level and Senior Management teams, including relevant business departments.

**Qualifications**:

Minimum Education Level
- Master’s Degree

Education Specific Requirement (if applicable)
- Specialization in IT or Engineering

Certifications (if applicable)
- PMI / ITIL certification
- SIX Sigma accreditation an advantage

Languages
- Fluent in English
