Required for a building contracting company in Sharjah, **HSE Manager** with at least 10 years of experience inside UAE and can join immediately
- Head of Health, Safety & Environment Department to address all safety and environmental issues in accordance with the Safety and Environmental requirements local regulations with the objective of ensuring full compliance and continued improvement.
- Responsible for preparation & Implementation of QA/QC System at site as per Project Contract requirements.
- Reports operationally to the Project Director and functionally to the QA/QC Manager (C& ID)
- Assist the QA/QC Manager in preparation of Quality System Documentation.
- Assist in monitoring the implementation of the Project Quality Plan and Project Management Systems.
- Coordinate with the various Sections to produce Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) for the works.
- Work in close coordination with laboratory and materials sections for fulfilling all QA/QC requirements of Client.
- Verify that inspection and testing are carried out by site supervisors, sub-contractors and suppliers in accordance to the Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements and / or Specifications.
- Monitor the work inspections are carrying out according to the Inspection & Test Plan (ITP).
- Carry out site surveillance to ensure that only proper methods of working are used and that all regulations are being observed, including serving Quality Violation notices.
- Conduct Management Systems and Quality Inductions for Project and subcontractors’ employees on the Project’s Management Systems and Quality requirements.
- Conduct training programs and workshops on management systems implementation and good quality working methods to inculcate an attitude towards producing good quality works and services.
- Assist for Audits on Quality and Management Systems including on Subcontractors / Suppliers, report on compliance, and follow-through with close outs of non-compliances.
- Conduct frequent quality site walk and raise reports on quality matters, issue follow up and close out
- Coordinate with the other Sections / Departments, the issue and close-outs of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
- Assist in follow up with the Consultants / Client the approval and close out of NCRs.
- Assist in preparing and implementing the necessary Procedures, Work Instructions and checklists relating to Quality.
- Liaise with the client’s representative / authorities to resolve Quality related matters.
- Attend meetings with Consultant / Subcontractors / Suppliers on Quality related matters.
- Provide information for the preparation of Monthly QA/QC Report to Consultant/Client and HO.
- Monitor completion status of the works and ensure works compliance records are complete.
- Coordinate with the Materials Engineer; ensure that the Materials compliance records (e.g. material certificates, test reports as specified in the Specifications) are complete.
- Assist in final inspections of the works for handover and monitor action on closing out the defects.

**Requirements**:
1. Must with NEBOSH Certificate.

2. Over 10 years of HSE Manager experience in villas and buildings construction field, among which 8 years overseas project experience.

3. Good English communication skills and team management ability.
