Phlebotomy Tutor

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver comprehensive lessons in phlebotomy, including anatomy, venipuncture techniques, specimen collection, safety, and infection control.
- Create an engaging learning environment using a combination of lectures, hands-on training, and clinical simulations.
- Provide mentorship and support to students, ensuring their readiness for certification exams and entry into the healthcare workforce.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, industry best practices, and certification requirements.

Qualifications:

- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) or equivalent certification.
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in phlebotomy or related healthcare fields.
- Prior teaching or instructional experience, preferably in a healthcare education setting.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and phlebotomy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Medical Technician
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related healthcare field.
- Experience in curriculum development and instructional design.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary

Expected hours: 4 - 6 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
