Sharepoint Developer/administrator

**Job Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **SharePoint Administration**: Install, configure, and maintain SharePoint environments, including SharePoint Online and on-premises versions. Ensure the stability and performance of SharePoint sites and services.
- **User Management**: Administer user permissions, site collections, and SharePoint security settings to ensure appropriate access controls and compliance.
- **Performance Monitoring**: Monitor and analyze SharePoint performance metrics, implement optimizations, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- **Backup and Recovery**: Manage and execute backup and recovery processes for SharePoint data and configurations to ensure data integrity and availability.
- **Customization and Development**: Support and manage customizations, including web parts, workflows, and integration with other systems. Collaborate with development teams to implement and test new features.
- **Incident Management**: Respond to and resolve incidents related to SharePoint environments following ITIL best practices. Document and report incidents and collaborate with other IT teams as needed.
- **Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive documentation for SharePoint configurations, customizations, and operational procedures.
- **Training and Support**: Provide technical support and training to end-users and IT staff regarding SharePoint functionalities and best practices.
- **Compliance and Governance**: Ensure SharePoint deployments comply with organizational policies, data protection regulations, and industry standards.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or specialized certifications are a plus.
- **Experience**: 5-10 years of experience in SharePoint administration or a similar role, with a proven track record of managing and supporting SharePoint environments.
- **Skills**:
- Extensive knowledge of SharePoint versions, including SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019, and earlier versions.
- Proficiency in SharePoint administration, including site management, user permissions, and security configurations.
- Experience with SharePoint customizations, workflows, and integration with other systems.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices, including incident management, change management, and service management.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Administrator, ITIL Foundation) are highly desirable.
