Part Time Accountant

**Company details**: We are a small scale store selling a wide variety of building materials and tools. Our store is located in the heart of Ajman and we receive a high footfall into the store.

We specifically require an individual with: a positive attitude, good communication skills, excellent team work skills, professional knowledge of accounting and VAT practices for trading businesses in UAE, and must have awareness or experience with various accounting softwares.

**Job description**:

- Maintenance and handling of opening and closing balances
- Maintenance of general ledgers
- Maintenance of corporate credit details
- Undertake monthly payroll management for employees
- Assist with preparation of budgeting strategies
- Analyze all income and expenditures on behalf of the company
- Generate all relevant reports on company’s financial performance on a monthly basis based on GAAP principles
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement and other relevant reports
- Assist with VAT calculations and filings

**Requirements**:

- Must be a graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance - board certifications are highly appreciated
- Willing to work with a start up venture and assist in putting key accounting structures in place
- Multi-lingual - Hindi, Urdu, English, Arabic (English, Hindi - Must, Basic Arabic preferred)
- Tech Savvy - and basic knowledge on ledgering with Tally Prime, MS Office, G Suite and other Accounting softwares
- Quick learner, team player, good communication skills

**Location** - Ajman

**Salary** - 1000 AED

**Hours** - Part time 4h per day for 6 days a week (timings can be either 4 hours morning or evening, but must be fixed)

**Visa and transport** - Must be in own visa for the time being and must be able to come and go from the store daily. We will require NOC from your current visa sponsor.

This opportunity could lead to a full time role and visa, if we are satisfied with job performance.

**Contract **- This is a temporary contract for 6 months.You will be required to sign a contract for this time frame.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Contract

Part-time hours: 24-28 per week

**Salary**: AED1,000.00 per month
