Research, conduct interviews, and fact-check information to maintain accuracy in reporting
- Collaborate with editors and senior writers to brainstorm ideas, develop story angles
- Stay up-to-date with current events, trends, and developments to identify newsworthy stories and opportunities for coverage
- Assist with other editorial tasks and projects as needed to support the publication’s objectives
- Maintain awareness of current events and trending topics in the UAE, the Philippines and globally
- Adhere to deadlines and editorial policies while delivering high standard of work
- Brainstorm and develop innovative content strategies with the team
- Develop anchoring and presenting skills to deliver news segments for multimedia platforms, including video and live broadcasts

**Qualifications**:

- Fluency in English is essential
- Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a writing role, preferably in print journalism
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Strong research and fact-checking abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of culture and current affairs is a plus
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to write clear, concise, and compelling content
- Knowledge of Dubai's local community and cultural context is a plus
- Passion for storytelling, news reporting, and delivering impactful journalism

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
