The Estimation Engineer is responsible for preparing bills of quantities (BOQ) and conducting estimation for fire-fighting projects, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness in pricing. This role involves working closely with project managers, design engineers, and sales teams to understand project requirements and deliver comprehensive estimates.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Prepare detailed and accurate bills of quantities (BOQ) for fire-fighting projects.
- Conduct cost estimation for materials, labor, and equipment required for projects.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other related documents to prepare estimates.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to obtain accurate pricing for materials and equipment.
- Review and compare supplier quotations to determine the best value for the project.
- Collaborate with project managers and design engineers to ensure project scope and requirements are understood.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, codes, and regulations.
- Provide technical support and clarification for sales teams during the bidding process.
- Monitor and analyze project cost performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present cost estimates and proposals to management and clients.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits as required.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of estimates and quotations.

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Proven experience in estimation and preparing BOQs for fire-fighting or electromechanical projects.
- Strong understanding of fire-fighting systems and related technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., NFPA).
- Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with project management and cost control practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or other design software

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
