Assistant Accommodation Supervisor

Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Accommodation Supervisor

**Position within**: Human Resources

**Reports to**: Accommodation Supervisor

**Location**: Dubai International Airport Terminal 1

Key Accountabilities (External)

Ensures that the staff camp accommodation is maintained properly and all complaints or requests are addressed promptly.
Acts as the primary point of contact in case of any emergencies.
Maintains constant contact with the residing staff and escalates any issues to the Accommodation Supervisor.
Together with Accommodation Supervisor ensures the welfare of residing staff and organizes social events as per the Accommodation Managers advice.
Involves in all aspects of inventory, e.g. order new product when necessary, arrange for receipts, unloading and organizing of items.
Orders supplies for the store and keep meticulous records so every product is accounted for and the store remains within budget.
Ensures the notice board at the staff accommodation is updated. Act as the primary contact point in case any communication is to be established with the residing staff.
Prepares reports on room occupancy, staff residing at the accommodation and other operational problems.
Monitors the staff accommodation on a daily basis from a safety perspective and ensures that all company provided equipment is in good working condition and well maintained at all times.
Supervises performance and prepares work schedules for the assigned Housing staff.
Complies with the Company Occupational Health & Safety Policy.

Essential Requirements & Competencies
Higher Secondary School or equivalent.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Previous experience working in a housing facility or staff accommodation.
Should be able to work effectively as part of a team and organize own work.
Demonstrated ability to maintain constructive relationships with others.
Acts as a role model and provides effective behavioral examples in order to motivate team members to achieve high levels of performance.
High level of commitment to continuous improvement and adaptability to change.
