Consultant Heptalogy

**Position: Consultant Hepatologist**

**Location ; Middle East**

**Responsibilities**:

- As a Consultant Hepatologist, you will be responsible for:

- Conducting comprehensive consultations, examinations, and assessments of patients' liver conditions, considering their medical history and symptoms.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, such as liver function tests, imaging studies, and biopsies, to aid in the diagnosis.
- Developing personalized treatment plans, which may include prescribing medications, recommending dietary changes, and coordinating with other specialists for additional care.
- Providing education and guidance to patients regarding their liver condition, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborating with other medical specialists, such as gastroenterologists, oncologists, and surgeons, to ensure holistic patient care.
- Conducting follow-up appointments to monitor the progress of treatment plans, adjusting prescriptions if necessary, and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Actively participating in clinical research studies, contributing to academic publications, and presenting findings at conferences.
- Supervising and mentoring junior medical staff, including residents and fellows, fostering a positive learning and professional environment.
- Adhering to ethical and legal standards in patient care, ensuring confidentiality and informed consent.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Qualifications:

- Australia: FRACP
- Ireland: CSCST
- Canada: RCPSC
- UK: CCT / CESR
- Spain: Specialization Certificate
- USA: American Board Certification
- Germany: German Board / Facharzt
- Italy: Italian Board / Specialization Certificate
- Sweden: Swedish Board / Specialization Certificate
- France: DES / DESC
