**Associate Principal - Equities Investments**

**Abu Dhabi**

We are working with a leading Sovereign Wealth Fund based in the UAE to hire an Associate Principal for their European Equity Fund Investment Team (Fund of Funds).

With an exceptionally strong financial backing, our client has invested across a multitude of asset classes and strategies in developed markets and built a multibillion dollar portfolio of assets. As they continue to regularly deploy capital, there is a need to hire a senior investment professional with experience of investing in Developed Market equity funds.

**The Associate Principal will;**
- Play a key role originating, structuring and executing investments in top-tier equities funds in developed markets; including Europe, North America and APAC regions.
- Regularly meet and interact with the senior management of equities funds, conducting on-site visits and due diligence.
- Provide recommendations to senior management for investments and help to prepare and present memos to the Investment Committee.
- Regularly participate in discussions and meetings regarding manager allocation and selection and provide updates and recommendations to senior management.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate managers’ performance, whilst preparing and presenting updates to the Investment Committee.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior members of the team as and when needed.
- **Be sitting in a Junior Vice President or VP position in the equities investment of fund investment team of a highly regarded investor based in a leading financial centre.**:

- Have a **proven track record investing in developed market equity funds.**:

- Possess a **very strong and all round analytical skill set,** including financial analysis and due diligence experience.
- Have started your career in the Equity Research or equivalent team of a top-tier bank.
- Hold a finance, mathematics or related degree from a highly regarded university with preference for those with a CFA or MBA qualification.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact and liaise with all levels of management.
- Be a self-starter and excited by the opportunity to live and work in Abu Dhabi.
