Ambulatory Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulatory Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an Ambulatory Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in an ambulatory care setting, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their visit.
Ambulatory Nurse provides direct and indirect evidence-based nursing care to participants at all stages on the health continuum. As part of a Care Team, the Ambulatory Nurse utilizes evidence to drive clinical decisions and practice related to individual and population health. The Ambulatory Nurse, in collaboration with Care Team members, designs, develops, executes and evaluates the plan of care for the patient in person as well as in remote patient monitoring situations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Utilizes data to continuously meet care coordination needs across settings including remote monitoring situations in conjunction with the patient, family and/or other Care Team Members
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for effectively managing nursing care of individual patients
- Documents nursing assessment and interventions to reflect comprehensive and integrated approach to patient care
- Understands and manages patient expectations for quality care delivery and a positive patient experience
- Executes nursing interventions by collaborating with the Care Team members and incorporating appropriate standards of care, practice and participant outcomes
- Evaluates patient response to plan of care and collaborates with the Care Team to make any needed adjustments
- Utilizes data to continuously meet care coordination needs across settings in conjunction with the participant and/or other Care Team members
- Assumes responsibility and accountability for effectively managing nursing care of individual participants
- Documents nursing assessment and interventions to reflect a comprehensive and integrated approach to health care
- Identifies learning needs and uses evidence-based practices to educate the patient
- Provides culturally competent, evidence-based and safe patient centered care
- Reviews and manages communications with patients and external entities such as referrals
- Works independently within the scope of practice and uses critical thinking in all care decisions.
- Coordinates with Care Team members to provide patient education and motivation as appropriate
- Assists with the management of patients with multiple chronic health conditions, acute episodes of care, behavioral health challenges while promoting and supporting prevention and wellness
- Maintains professional development through continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and knowledge sharing.
- Manages patient feedback as appropriate
- Other duties as assigned
**Requirements**:
Job requirements: Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification from an accredited program (required) OR
- Associate Degree Nursing degree from North America with evidence of passing the NCLEX
- Current registered nurse licensure in the UAE (preferred)
- Minimum one-year experience in a clinical setting (required)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within thirty (30) days of hire
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing in English (required)
- Bilingual in Arabic and English (preferred)
- Ability to work independently, exercise creativity, be attentive to detail, and maintain a positive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple and simultaneous responsibilities and to prioritize scheduling of work
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all medical, financial, and legal information
- Ability to complete work assignments accurately and in a timely manner
- Ability to handle difficult situations involving patients, physicians, or others in a professional manner.
