**We are hiring for Iraq project applicant from the UAE for the following role.**

**Mechanical Design Manager.**

As a Mechanical Design Manager for an MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) company, your job description would encompass various responsibilities related to the mechanical aspects of services for Low & Hight rise building, infrastructure work services.

Here's a typical job description for this role:
1. Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of mechanical engineers and designers to deliver high-quality mechanical design solutions for building projects. 2. Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical design projects within established timelines and budgets.

3. Design and Engineering: Provide technical expertise in mechanical systems design, prepare tender drawing and shop drawing including HVAC systems, plumbing systems, fire protection systems, with all design calculation requirement (Heat load calculation, Air flow& static pressure calculation, Pump total dynamic head calculation, Sequence of equipment's operating Scenarios and other mechanical components.

4. Standards and Compliance: Ensure all mechanical designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations, industry standards, and safety guidelines.

5. Coordination with other disciplines: Collaborate with electrical and plumbing teams to ensure seamless integration of all MEP systems within building designs. 6. Quality Assurance: Conduct design reviews and implement quality assurance procedures to maintain the highest standards of design excellence.

7. Resource Allocation: Manage staffing and resource allocation to meet project requirements effectively.

8. Innovation and Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical design technologies and methodologies. Implement innovative solutions to improve efficiency and performance.

9. Client Interaction: Engage with clients, consultants, and contractors to understand project requirements, address concerns, and provide technical support during the design phase.

10. Cost Control: Work closely with the estimating team to optimize mechanical design solutions and ensure cost-effectiveness.

11. Training and Development: Foster professional development within the mechanical design team, providing mentorship and training opportunities.

12. Health and Safety: Prioritize health and safety in all aspects of mechanical design, ensuring compliance with safety standards and promoting a safe work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- 10 years or above of experience in mechanical design and engineering, with a proven track record of managing design projects and teams.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools is essential. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, materials, and manufacturing processes is also important.
- leadership Abilities: Demonstrated leadership skills to guide and mentor a team of mechanical engineers and designers effectively.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to liaise with team members, stakeholders, and other departments.
- Problem-Solving: A mechanical design manager should be adept at analyzing complex engineering challenges and finding innovative solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, standards, and best practices is crucial to ensure compliance and quality.

**Salary**: AED9,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
